YouTube is the new DIY mecca. You can teach yourself anything from how to fix a broken wire to cooking a perfect risotto just by watching do-it-yourself videos.
With the party season just around the corner, here are some YouTube channels to check out for do-it-yourself fashion, hair and makeup. With most of us not wanting to spend on salons and personal stylists, this is the perfect solution.
*If you want to master some quick, fun and trendy hairstyles, Luxy Hair has great DIY videos, which match up to the latest runway trends. The videos are complete with easy tricks and recaps.
*For everything from makeup to skin care, and some fashion tips, follow the Michelle Phan channel. Phan has lots of videos like how to do your makeup under $20 and how to do your makeup without a mirror.
*Another make-up tutorial channel, The Makeup Chair, offers basic lessons like a beginner’s eyeliner tutorial or the best way to put a foundation. It has also skincare tips.
*If you are into high fashion, then Wendy’s Lookbook, a high fashion channel is worth subscribing to. Owner Wendy Nguyen talks about the latest fashion trends right from the runway or sometimes even from fashion meccas like Italy.
